    Description

    Up for sale is a Techno Nomura “USAF Military Airlift Command” battery operated tin toy in very good condition.
    It has some small dents/scratches and a tail fin repair but overall it’s very nice. It didn’t run when found so I cleaned the battery contacts and oiled the drive mech. That’s all it took and now it drives around but still struggles to deploy the jeep from the nose.
    The spring mechanism that operates it is really stiff and really puts a load on that tiny motor when engaged.
    It measures 14” overall bad has a wing span of 14 1/2”. I think the plane is a C-5A Galaxy and most likely dates to the early 1970s. The MAC was in operation from 1966-1974 before it changed names.
