    Description

    This new in the box, CORGI die cast P-51D Mustang IV nicknamed "Dooleybird" is a representation of the aircraft that was flown by Lt. Dooley during WW II. Lt. Dooley was part of the RAF No.19 Squadron which provided close support for the army from D-Day, June 6th 1944 onwards. In September the squadron returned to East Anglia, then Scotland, to undertake long-range escort missions until the end of the war.
    The model has never been removed from the box or displayed. The inner package was removed long enough to take the pictures in order to reduce the plastic glare and then returned to the box.
