This centrifuge has been inspected by our service technician and has had preventative maintenance service done, including it's motor fan's cleaned and lubricated,
along with it's radiator and air vent both cleaned of all dust build-up.
We have also checked the centrifuges refrigeration system to cool properly (we are licensed to handle refrigeration) along with a
freon charge (if needed) and a
special compressor additive to prolong your compressors lifespan.
All these services being done will ensure the life of your centrifuge, and can prevent costly problems
from arising in the future such as your units refrigeration failing and your drive/motor from failing.
Some of the things included is that a trained professional (Beckman Factory Trained) has inspected this centrifuges Gasket's, Motor mounts, Pulleys, Belt, Fans, Connections, Drive Motor, and Power Supply to pass all our tests
to ensure this centrifuge is running optimally and safely. We will Include a thorough service report including all of the above.
This unit has a brushless drive.
Brushless motors offer several advantages over brushed DC motors, including high torque to weight ratio, more torque per
watt
(increased efficiency), increased reliability, reduced noise, longer lifetime (no
brush
and commutator erosion), elimination of ionizing sparks from the commutator, and an overall reduction of
electromagnetic interference
(EMI). With no windings on the rotor, they are not subjected to centrifugal forces, and because the windings are supported by the housing, they can be cooled by conduction, requiring no airflow inside the motor for cooling. This in turn means that the motor's internals can be entirely enclosed and protected from dirt or other foreign matter.
Product Description
Beckman J6 MI Capacity Centrifuge
The
Beckman J6-MI
is a versatile high capacity centrifuge that is capable of delivering a high level of performance in separation techniques for bioprocessing, clinical, research and blood separation laboratories.
The
J6-MI centrifuge
solution uniquely designed to achieve key separations in volumes up to 6 Liters.
Enjoy maintenance free operations due to the rugged, brushless induction drive which delivers high torque, fast acceleration, and extended motor life due to low wear. Experience full control with up to ten operator definable acceleration and deceleration profiles.
Built with a sophisticated detection system, the
Beckman J6 centrifuge
prevents operation in the event of rotor imbalance, overspeed or overtemperature conditions. An electronic door interlock also ensures that the chamber door is securely closed before a run can begin, and remains locked during the course of the run – ensuring operator safety. For maximum versatility, optional Beckman rotors and accessories are available to assist any laboratory in getting the most from the J6 Series.
